Broadway Park West

This 14-acre project is located along the Huron River a few blocks from downtown Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan Medical Center. The site is a former Michigan Consolidated Gas Company facility and will involve the largest brownfield redevelopment in Washtenaw County history. Upon completion, the development will include the creation of an entire neighborhood consisting of 95 condominium residences, a 180-key Hotel under the Curio Collection by Hilton, and upwards of 10,000 square feet of neighborhood retail. The centerpiece of the project is a 7-acre public space which opened in late 2025, unlocking community access for the first time in Ann Arbor history to more than 1,200 feet of restored Huron River shoreline. This remarkable public space includes large manicured lawns for casual recreation, a Border to Border Trail bridge connection to the Argo Cascades, pedestrian pathways that will connect to the future hotel and retail areas, and two points of embarkation to the river for kayaks and other paddle craft. Construction on Phase 2 of Broadway Park West will commence in early 2026 and, when completed, will feature a 8,000 square foot, year round pavilion for private and community events.
