The Roxbury Group is a Detroit-based real estate development and investment firm founded in 2005 by principals David Di Rita and Stacy Fox. We specialize in complex real estate and economic development projects in the city of Detroit, with a focus on hotel and hospitality properties.
For more than 20 years, Roxbury has played an instrumental role in the redevelopment of Detroit's city center, as well as its neighboring districts.
Roxbury has developed over one million square feet of properties, including a number of iconic, historic high rises, and new construction projects.
In addition to our several hotels and food and beverage establishments, our development portfolio also includes over 500 multi-family residential units.
What Guides Our Work
Every building has a story. The key is knowing what’s important to save or restore—what gives the place its character. We let that story guide the design, rather than forcing something new onto it. Working with the building’s strengths instead of fighting against them. Its original purpose may not be its best use today, and that’s part of the process. We embrace the philosophy that when you allow a building to evolve, it remains relevant while still honoring its storied history and architectural brilliance.
