Ms. Stacy Fox is co-founder and principal of the Roxbury Group. Stacy is extremely active in the efforts to revitalize downtown Detroit. In addition to Roxbury's development activities in the city, in 2013, she was appointed by Governor Rick Snyder to serve as Deputy Emergency Manager of the City of Detroit, where she played an instrumental role in guiding the City through the largest municipal bankruptcy in US history. She also serves as a member of the executive committee of Downtown Detroit Partnership, and chair of its Stakeholders Committee. She is the founder and donor advisor of the Detroit of Tomorrow Fund (formerly Collins & Aikman Foundation), a 501c3 foundation dedicated to strengthening downtown Detroit and promoting opportunities for living and working in the city. Ms. Fox was also a gubernatorial appointee to the board of directors of Michigan Fast Track Land Bank Authority (and served as it initial chairperson). She's a past recipient of Automotive News 100 leading women in the automotive industry award and is admitted to practice law in Michigan, Massachusetts and Delaware.
Stacy has 30 years experience as a corporate and restructuring attorney and executive advisor to CEO's and boards of directors. She is currently the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of DuPont Corporation. Prior to this, she has served as the top legal officer for three major public companies. Most recently, Ms. Fox was senior vice-president of strategy and general counsel of Sunoco, Inc., a Philadelphia-based refining and distribution company, which ranked as a Fortune 50 company during Ms. Fox's tenure.
Prior to Sunoco, Ms. Fox served as executive vice-president, chief administrative officer and general counsel at Collins & Aikman Corporation (C&A), a global publicly-traded tier one automotive supplier, and prior to that, served as senior vice-president, corporate transactions and legal affairs and general counsel for Visteon Corporation, another major tier one automotive supplier listed on the NYSE. Ms. Fox also spent 11 years as an executive at Johnson Controls
She graduated from the University of Michigan Law School and also received her Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
